endlich mal ein cw gegen einen richtigen clan.

Also Leute was den Global War betrifft stehe im mit Standard*VBF* im engen Kontakt. Dieser ist bei VBF zuständig für CW-Entscheidungen und steht widerum mit BOV-Cyclops in Kontakt.
Nachdem ich gestern mit BOSS und Michael Meiers eine Unterredung bzgl. einiger Details des angestrebten Global Wars hatte, hier eine Kopie von der VBF-Seite bzgl. des Stands der Dinge:

Hello members,
It's time to discuss about the future war. I had a meeting with the BOV negotiator (Cyclops), and we discussed some possible details. I would like to have your opinion about them.

1) Date of the war: it could be a monthly appointment. The first date will be on Sunday, May 4th, 21.30 Amsterdam time (15.30 E.S.T.)

2) It will be a three-matches game, mode "King of the Hill" (that is, with a zone to be occupie and kept). Each game will last for 20 mins, the zone keeping time for winning will be 10 mins. Each game will be on a different map. Three maps will be used: Classical Snow Map, Artifact, and Demo House.

3) Number of players: 16 vs 16. If a team will not reach the number of 12 at the moment of starting the game, the game will not be held. So it is important to underline that if someone accepts to play, her/his name will be in the list of gamers. If she/he realizes that is no longer able to join the game, IT IS OBLIGATORY to inform me.

4) Teams: BOV/CAT vs VBF/GER.

5) IT WILL BE A NO MOD GAME. We will fight with the following primary weapons: SAW249, M16 and all of those listed in the original DFX DEMO no mod installation. This choice is necessary because of the increasing amount of hacking/cheating in the game. I don't want to face an opponent that has a G36 rifle equipped with the Arecibo Radiotelescope :)), there is no fun in it.

6) Who will play? Well, good point, each team will make a selection according their own criteria. I can give my opinion just about VBF participants. I think that since it is a 3-games match, all of VBF may have their own moment of glory :).
But this means that VBF people should communicate to me if they will join or not.

7) No armed choppers will be present, just buggies with 50 cal machine gun, and motorbikes.

Hi Standard, I discussed your proposals with GER and we would like to change some things.

1. We think 12 Players should be enough on each side and it would also help to reduce the lag factor.

2. Saturday would be a better day for playing because everyone can have a good night's rest the next day instead of going to work or school tired.

3. It should be sufficient to have just every second month a Global War.

4. What the map concerns we think Snow Base map without amoured vehicles would be the only adequate map for a good "king of the hill" match because this one has the best requirement for an open ground battle man against man. Besides there are not so many hiding places for "zone camping".

5. We don't like to have the M 16 in the game due to its noobing grenade effect. It is a noob weapon and could therefore be misused which would spoil the game.

With the rest of the suggestions we do agree.

nur die frage is, kann ich mitspielen, aus jedem clan 6 spieler...

Vielleicht kommt ja einer nich.
Außerdem zocken wir ja 3 runden...

.....so wie es aussieht werd ich wohl nicht mitspielen denn wenn ich spiele will chris nich spielen und dann hat VBF auch kb und deswegn spiel ich besser nich anstatt das ganze fällt aus ich spiel dann beim nächsten mit und an meine stelle kann entweder du oda landser spielen

wenn landser besser is, soll der mitspielen^^

aber trotzdem danke^^

dann tauschen wir einfach durch. Ich setze von mir aus dann die 2. oder 3. Runde aus und wenn das mehrere machen, dann kommen bei uns auch alle guten Spieler mal dran. Außerdem ist die Sache noch nicht 100%-ig sicher. Also schauen wir mal...

Wenns Sonntag is, dann kann ich eh nur die erste Runde.

vllt mach ich auch en deal mit chris das er die 1 spielt ich die 2 und die 3 keiner :D
